The 6th Grade won their pool and advanced to the playoff brackets. The first game was against Ashbury Park Elite of Neptune, NJ. The game was back-and-forth for the first 6 minutes of the game, Then the Sixers went on 15-2 run and never looked back. The team advanced to the Championship game vs. South Jersey Jazz.
The Metro Sixers jumped out to a 9-0 run and the Jazz came storming back with a run of their own. However, the speed of the Sixers and the passing was too much for them to handle. The Sixers led by as much as 30 points at one point in the game, before closing out the game by 20 points.
